The city also features some of the best outdoor hiking & parks in the county, like Oso Creek Trail; A community collaboration that started in 1997, which features 5 1/2 miles of hiking, walking and bicycling paths along the banks of the creek. Originally designed as a walking garden, the paths are lined with more than 130,000 different plants that have been cultivated by volunteers and also features a plant maze that offers fun for kids, while the Peace Obelisk pays tribute to victims of the 9/11 attacks.
